For those who worked with YourEncore in the past for CPG and Food & Flavor needs, you might be wondering where the company went. The short answer is that it is still here, better than ever with a new identity and a renewed mission for Succeeding Together.
The YourEncore transformation story
YourEncore was a company spanning two industries—life sciences and CPG/food & flavor—and built with one focus: highly experienced, immediately-effective on-demand consulting.
In 2020, YourEncore was acquired by Advarra. Given that Advarra is a life sciences-focused company, they did not have a vested interest in continuing YourEncore’s CPG/food & flavor side of the business.
Rather than shuttering this division, which customers and industry experts alike did not want, YourEncore searched for the right partner to acquire their CPG /food & flavor vertical.
After careful evaluation, they knew they found the right buyer in Jason McCaw and BelFlex, which boast 30 years of experience owning companies in the human capital space. Jason and YourEncore founder, Brad Lawson, had a history of partnership, which made it easy for Jason to see the potential of acquiring this CPG business and extending the McCaw family’s long-standing legacy of human capital investment.
Once the YourEncore sale was finalized in March of 2021, it was the beginning of an exciting new future and a newly rebranded company name reflective of its place in the BelFlex family—Intellex.
As Intellex, what remains the same?
The team
Several of those who spearheaded the success of YourEncore’s CPG/food & flavor division remained in place to support the company and its innovative future as Intellex. This includes Kevin O’Keefe, former YourEncore Director of Talent and current Intellex VP of Operations, Bob Freking, former YourEncore business developer and current Intellex Director of Client Engagement, Christine Larsen, former YourEncore talent manager and current Intellex Director of Talent Manager, and Rich Leeper, former and current Project Delivery Manager.
The mission
Intellex remains focused on providing highly experienced, immediately effective experts to clients. The drive to connect with a community that is focused on CPG and FF industries, by way of staffing mid-level roles and providing high-level consulting for larger, institution-wide needs, remains embedded in the culture. This, combined with the strategic guidance and problem-solving that lives in our core, forms the foundation that leads to Succeeding Together
As Intellex, what is new and exciting?

New technology platform
Intellex will be launching a proprietary technology platform—Intellex Engage. This elevates the talent search experience by providing an integrated platform where clients can thoroughly research—and inquire about—our unrivaled talent network, interact with experts on-demand, and connect with us in real time to communicate about candidates and the hiring or consulting process. The result is a deeper, more comprehensive talent engagement that expedites the identification and placement of ideally suited talent for even the most complex product challenges.
Microconsulting
We’re driven to make consulting as flexible and efficient as possible for the widest range of clients. Interested in speaking with an expert for only an hour? Or need only a few hours to address your issues? You’ll have that ability. Without lengthy meetings to scope requirements, or the need to develop a statement of work, and without a significant time or budget commitment. Some projects do require all these steps, but others do not. Our goal is to fundamentally change the way clients select talent and connect with industry experts, in a way that best fits their needs.
