MAYER ROD COATING; REVERSE ROLL COATING; GRAVURE ROLL COATING. Expert evaluates the optimum coating application method for new products and solves issues with existing techniques. He has worked with each of these techniques.
FILM COATING PROCESSES. Many of Expert's clients request precision thin film (<1 mil dry) for critical products. Expert evaluates gravure, engraved roll, milled slot, and precision reverse roll systems for these needs. He helps develop coating processes in house or on a contract (toll) basis on available pilot or production coating lines.
COATING RAW MATERIALS. Expert has worked to develop and select web materials, including paper, plastic film, fabric, metals, and foils, to promote the application of thin films to these surfaces. He establishes proper specifications, and selects raw material supplies for in-house or contract coating of the final product.
GRAVURE COATING. Expert is an expert at specifying and selecting the best system to meet the client's requirements for a well coated product. He has experience solving gravure application problems. He can search out contract pilot and production coating houses if required.
SLITTING. Expert has specified slitting equipment for plastic and paper and coated films. He has engineered slitting processes in the photo film industry. He designed, developed, and engineered saturation coating and web treatments on paper, metal foil, and plastic film bases using numerous chemical baths.
