Request Expert

Expert is a board-certified urologist with more than two decades of clinical, academic, and leadership experience in the field of urology. Currently serving as Senior Staff in the Department of Urology at a major hospital and medical center, Expert provides comprehensive care for patients with a focus on the endoscopic management of benign prostatic hypertrophy and renal and ureteral calculi. His procedural expertise includes advanced endoscopic techniques, laser treatments, brachytherapy, and ultrasound-guided interventions.

Expert earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Boston College before obtaining a Doctor of Medicine from Boston University Medical School. He later completed a surgical internship followed by a urology residency and he received specialized course training through the American Urology Association in brachytherapy and ultrasound in urology.

In addition to his clinical experience, Expert has maintained an extensive academic career, holding a faculty appointment as Assistant Professor of Urology and contributing significantly to medical education. He's served as Program Director for a urology residency program for more than two decades and as Co-Director of a hospital-based prostate center. In these roles, he were responsible for developing curriculum, mentoring residents, coordinating clinical training, and overseeing program quality. He has served as Historian for both the American Urological Association and the Society of Academic Urologists, and has served on quality and safety committees, infectious disease control, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, where he has co-led institutional projects to promote just and equitable training environments.

Expert has authored numerous publications and abstracts covering topics such as prostate cancer management, minimally invasive urologic surgery, and surgical outcomes. Additionally, they hold editorial and peer-review positions with respected journals in the field of urology.
