Responsibilities:• Established liaison with TVET institutes, TVET governing bodies and employers associations.• Carrying out the identification, quality assessment and selection of TVET institutes in KPK/FATA. • Design conceptual and practical framework needed for upgrading TVET sector leading towards employability. • Facilitate capacity building of TVET institutes in coordination with local partners • Design training products and their packages as per the private sector needs • Create linkages of TVET institutes with national / international bodies for curricula standardization • Accreditation of TVET Institutes (KPK / FATA) with NAVTTC • Up-gradation of TVET Institutes. • Working on selection of advance curriculums as per market requirements. • Arranged meetings for Research teams of TUSDEC members for EU-TVET Programme for base-line study with Higher Authorities of TVET Sectors i.e. Secretary, Industries & Technical Education, Chairman SIDB, Secretary, BTE, Secretary TTB, Director NAVTTC KPK, Director SDC, Director Vocational Training, Director Labour Market Information etc. • Maintain high ethical standards of training at all times, avoiding any actual or perceived conflicts of interest. • Carried out field visits in all KPK, F.R. / PATA and FATA, monitor and support on-going trainings in targeted institutes and ensure that the quality of training is up to the agreed standard. • Reporting / grading of TVET institutes after the physical verification. • Interviews/selection of potential trainees in various short-listed TVET institutes. • Career counseling of trainees during training and also working on the placement of trainees in formal and informal sectors. • Working on Knowledge About Business (KAB) and Entrepreneurship activities for trainers and trainees of EU-TVET Programme. • Registration, examination and certification of Pass-out trainees. • Reporting and analysis. |
