Expert is General Manager for the Freight Division for United Parcel Service. He was previously the President at his own consulting company since November 2004. His firm provided consulting services in the logistics industry. Expert has more than 25 years of experience in less than Truck Load (LTL), Truck Load (TL), air freight, warehousing and distribution, small package logistics, and container and freight forwarding operations.
He also has experience in international logistics, ground floor development, sales, engineering, and executive and personnel management operations. Prior, Expert worked at FedEx Express, Con-Way Transportation Services, New Penn Motor Freight, Central Transport, and Yellow Freight Systems. Since 2007, he has been heavily involved with Chinese Logistics both vis-a-vis the US market and Intra China logistical development. For the past several years, Expert has been involved with oil, gas and coal production in the United States and in flashpoints such as North Africa, South America, Africa, and Asia. In the process of planning distribution of these commodities, he has amassed a substantial modicum of facts and current information on: government involvement and manipulation, production and pricing trends, and challenges to development in the future. In the past several years, he has worked extensively with several Chinese Bank institutions on infrastructure projects and demand analysis. Expert holds a BS in Operations Management from Rochester Institute of Technology.
Expert has consulted with the Chinese Transport Ministry on how to develop their metrics for delivery systems. They visited him in the U.S., in which capacity he hosted tours to Old Dominion and Conway facilities.
