He has 30 years of experience in building and managing apparel operations, primarily at the large-scale level. Recent positions he has held include Factory General Manager for a global apparel company, as well as Consultant and General Manager to an underwear company, where he drove all operations, including design, development, purchasing, production and finances. Expert has also served as Managing Operations Director for a global knitter/manufacturer of underwear and sleepwear whose clients included Calvin Klein, Victoria’s Secret, Hugo Boss, M&S, Tommy Hilfiger and Benetton. In this role he stewarded operations process improvements to ensure and improve productivity, quality and on-time deliveries; he also applied corrective actions to manufacturing processes. Expert also spent 14 years for a swimwear manufacturer, where he served as Industrial Director in charge of overall operations, including design, delivery, budget and finance. Three decades ago he created a sportswear garments company. Additionally, he has worked as a freelance consultant globally to provide counsel and assistance in textile production for sportswear and winter sports apparel.

Expert served as a freelance textile production consultant from 1988 to 1990. He is currently an independent consultant in textiles and apparel.
