At Verizon (then Alltel), Expert was Director of Capital and Property Management and worked in the network group directing the capital and operating budgets, Alltel Towers, wholesale roaming finance, property management and FAA/FCC compliance until January 2009. Special projects included leading network M&A integration and developing enterprise IT tools. JobTrac managed the capital spend, and ATLAS managed cell site development and property management. Expert provided vendor sourcing for LightSquared's nationwide cell site development in 2010/2011. Expert provided product development and business development consulting for Unison Site Management. Expert developed lease optimization programs that Unison could offer to wireless carriers, and then introduced Unison to key executives at Verizon Wireless, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile. Expert provided process improvement and financial modeling services to the corporate services group at T-Mobile. He brought industry best practices to the T-Mobile team responsible for the difficult lease extension negotiations.
