Expert has extensive experience in pre-construction estimating and management of construction for development projects. He is accomplished in representing developer-owners as manager of design and construction from concept to completion on turnkey projects. He is responsible for hiring all design consultants and contracting with general and subcontractors required for completed buildings, and development projects. Responsibilities:Expert formed this organization as a construction and consulting company to contract for building projects and provide estimating and management services to contractors and developers. Employer has since evolved into a consulting company and has provided full scope services for a variety of clients and projects. Expert is the primary consultant, he does call in associates as required. He assists clients engaged in a full range of general construction or land development issues by performing feasibility studies and evaluations, constructability reviews, developing pro-forma reports, and pre-construction services including detailed estimates. Expert had a three year assignment working for Mountbatten Surety. His assignment was to review contractors in all states west of Mississippi River requesting bonding . Bonding limit was fifteen million each project .He reviewed allicant's company management, safety program, individual project for which bonding had been request, final bid if contractor wa successful low bidder finances of company and management qualification. He submitted recommendations to bonding committee . After bonding, he reviewed monthly request for payments, and had responsibility of prevention of default. Upon default of a project he provided take-over management and eventually a replacment contractor obtained by competive bidding or by a negotited price. During his assignment with Mountbtten, he provided on-site assistance to pevent default on a major airport construction project in Southern California, and prevented 5 defaults on large public work project in the San Franisco area. Employer has consulted on offshore SE Asia projects, The Philippines, and Japanese on low cost replacement housing after the Kobe earthquake. He has provided services in about 15 U.S. States. He is presently working with a group devoted towards environmental ( green) products in construction and development mainly in the area of clean water and reuse of grey water . |
