Expert has over 25 years of diversified experience in the semiconductor and semiconductor equipment industries in a variety of executive roles. He is currently an independent consultant to several semiconductor, semiconductor equipment and LED companies. He worked at Applied Materials for 17 years where he served in variety of executive roles. Expert is an expert on ALL issues relating to the manufacturing the technology and the marketing of all type of semiconductors and LED.

The areas he is an expert are: Silicon, GaN, SiC, Eitaxy, etching, Litho, EUV, RTP. Laser annealing, Oxidation, Ion Implant, High K, Low k, Metals, PVD, CVD, Advanced Packaging, 3D devices, Front end, Back end.

He is the industry pioneer of selective CVD deposition, he is the co-inventor of the selective Tungsten, He is an earlier developer of the selective Epitaxy deposition (today all advance devices using this technology) he also developed the industry first single chamber poly deposition and Policide integration system..

Before joining Applied Materials, expert worked at Intel Corporation and IMP in various positions, including process development manager and engineering manager of Fab operations.

He holds a PhD from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Materials Science. He completed a post-doctoral research work at UCSF in Radiology and are the holder of 39 US patents (361 citations) and many others pending.
