Expert started in the seafood industry for a Dutch company importing fresh seafood from East Africa. He was responsible for the sales to Spain, Portugal and France. Being hired by an Italian fresh seafood company, he moved from Holland to Italy in order to be Senior Trader for Spain and Portugal. He moved to Spain establishing his own Import & Export Consultancy. Since then, his goal is to build up or to strenghten the international position for European and overseas companies in a practical, commercial and direct way. About 90% of his customers is working in the seafood sector by which he obtained a large experience of its products, markets, contacts and trends. He is based in Spain but his work does not understand borders. For example, he built up the European market for a Vietnamese seafood company but he also built up the German market for a Spanish company. In these 15 years he met big part of all European importers, distributors, supermarkets and C&C's.

Normally the most important product of his customers is shrimp. Penaeus Notialis, Penaeus Monodon and Parapenaeus Atlantica from Nigeria, Litopenaeus Vannamei from Ecuador, Penaeus Monodon from Vietnam, Panulirus Argus from Brasil and Panamá ... he worked with all species practically and commercially. One of his best experiences is being selected as international seafood expert by the Centre for Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries (CBI) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from the Netherlands, helping to build up the export of seafood from Ecuador (mainly farmed Litopenaeus Vannamei).
