Expert's experience includes investigation and examination of the circumstances,responsibilities and liabilities on behalf of a client's Loss Adjuster following the derailment of a freight train The conclusions of his report aligned with the investigation findings later published by the RAIB inspectorate. This work included framing the client’s response to the various other parties witness statements and reviewing repair costs to minimise potential liability.
Expert has also investigated the causes of rapid vehicle wheel tread wear and rail head loss on a particular route and produced a report for the infrastucture owner and the Train Operating Company parties involved. The issues associated with the accelerated wear patterns were removed when Expert's report recommendations were implemented.
