QUALITY MANAGEMENT; CONTINUOUS QUALITY IMPROVEMENT. Ms. Expert has extensive background and hands-on experience in the management and implementation of quality improvement, as well as TQM (total quality management) and continuous improvement. Her experience includes implementation, planning, analysis, training, and measurement in the following areas: failure modes and effects analysis, quality improvement, continuous quality improvement, supplier quality improvement, quality engineering using statistical methods, root cause analysis, quality function deployment, quality assurance, and fault tree analysis. She is also working with the ISO 9000 and QS 9000 quality system standards.

CAPABILITY STUDY; MACHINE CAPABILITY STUDY; PROCESS CAPABILITY. A significant amount of Expert's time has been spent both teaching and implementing capability studies in a wide variety of industries. Her studies include evaluating new and old equipment, machines, processes, and products in the automotive, metal processing, plastics, food and beverage, and packaging industries.

CORRECTIVE ACTION. A major portion of her time has been spent assisting clients in developing permanent effective corrective actions and implementing them within an established quality system, for example ISO 9000 or QS 9000. Emphasis is placed on identifying and verifying the true root cause.

FAILURE MODE AND EFFECTS ANALYSIS (FMEA). Expert actively works with client teams instructing them in the use and development of process and design FMEA's. She frequently facilitates teams in improving existing FMEA studies. FMEA's are required under QS 9000 in the automotive industry.

NON-WOVENS. As a Quality Engineer, Expert was involved in the development, production, and testing of polyester and fiberglass nonwovens.

CHEMICAL PROCESS CONTROL. Expert has experience in the analysis of process control data and in the use of appropriate sampling methods.

STATISTICAL PROCESS CONTROL (SPC). Expert instructs and assesses the effectiveness of ongoing SPC programs, determines rational subgroups, and selects charts and alternate sampling schemes to meet requirements. She has extensive experience in setting up an initial program and in the application of specialized short run control charts.

LIQUID PACKAGING; SOLID PACKAGING. Expert has production experience in the evaluation and monitoring of various types of multiple head filling equipment for both beverage and chemical products. She has also gained experience in the evaluation and monitoring of pouch packaging equipment for solids.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT - MANUFACTURING DESIGN REVIEW. Expert has experience using failure modes and effects analysis and quality function deployment to improve the development and design processes.

TRAINING PROCESS. Expert develops and facilitates customized programs around specific company needs. She instructs and trains a workshop emphazing the need for a design, comfortable environment, hands-on interactive learning activities, and facilitation.
