Dr. is board certified in general, addiction, and forensic psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology. Expert received his MD from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York in 1988, his Masters in Public Health in Epidemiology in 1991 and his M.B.A in 2006. He completed his internship in general psychiatry and medicine in 1989 and resident training in general psychiatry and addiction psychiatry in 1993. He completed additional fellowship training in law and psychiatry at Harvard Medical School in 1995.

He is certified as a National Provider Identifer and as an Aviation Medical Examiner by the Federal Aviation Administration. He has a controlled substances registration in the state of Massachusetts and has a medical license in 5 states.

He has over 20 years of experience in the field of technology as an educational counselor and over 10 years of experience as a psychiatric consultant for various disability determination services. His expertise also includes over 10 years of experience as a medical director and expert consultant in the field of psychiatry and addiction medicine.

Dr. is an officer of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, Co-Chair of the American Medical Association's Task Force on Alcohol, and is the first addiction medicine specialist to have been elected to the AMA's Council on Science and Public Health. He represents the American Society of Addiction Medicine within the AMA's House of Delegates.

He has been an expert witness on over 30 different cases in the state of New Hampshire, Massachusetts and various other individual cases serving as a psychiatric consultant on disability determination services, medical expert on psychiatry and addiction medicine cases, expert consultation on medical conduct and various other medical and psychiatric issues.

His expertise extends into various aspects of general medical psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, and forensic psychiatry including the administration aspect, technological and production aspect of numerous medical corporations (including several online and media positions), and providing service management consultation for several medical agencies. He is also an educator and instructor in Psychiatry at several prestigious medical schools such as Harvard Medical School and Dartmouth Medical School. He is also an advisor for several medical forums and committees on issues concerning quality assurance, health strategies, and psychiatric care management.

ADDICTION: Dr.'s expertise in addiction include alcoholism, nicotine dependency, substance abuse and addiction treatment, substance use disorders, addiction prevention, and addiction trends. He is also knowledgeable in the pharmaceutical and psychopharmacology aspect of addiction. He has observed and analyzed behaviors involved in addiction.
