Responsibilities:The main duty is to defend the skies of Jordan; such a mission would be very difficult without the support and coordination of Engineers. As part of a team of expert engineers, he was given several responsibilities throughout his military career. The duties progressed from Maintenance, Engineering Design, Technical training, to foreign security program management, and mainly from the US. The last five years in his service were senior management positions, he was largely responsible for managing the US (IMET) Program, International Military Education and Training Program, The duties included but not limited to, coordinating, planning and executing the program, and within fair and effective support to all RJAF Directorates. The program was managed under a predetermined strategy, framework, and aims to foster efficient US Aid to the JAF, The Jordanian Armed Forces, including RJAF. He took another position, whereby he was responsible to manage a part of the FMS (Foreign military sales) program, the program under my responsibility included procuring electrical and mechanical systems for the RJAF, the goal was to reinforce the systems infrastructure . The FMS program management included assessing the needs, delivering on tight deadlines and monitoring feedback. The FMS program management ensured all processes, and actions contributed to the achievement of the program goals, where each program manager was accountable for his results. Each program’s success depended on PMC planning and work prioritization, as well as handling simultaneous assignments under constricted targets. |
