Expert (pronounced Seeverson, ) is a Certified Value Specialist with expertise in product, process, and systems development, with an emphasis on value, quality, and cost. He is very skilled in many facets of his field, including value management and assurance, value analysis/engineering, and systems value analysis. He is equally knowledgeable of quality function deployment, also known as "house of quality." He has worked on over 700 projects in productivity, cost, and quality improvements for many businesses, with a proven track record of millions of dollars of cost savings, and performance, and quality improvement. Expert is intimately familiar with Principles and Applications of Value Engineering, Contractual Aspects of Value Engineering (CAVE), and Management of Value Engineering. He is also very knowledgeable regarding project and cost management, design to cost, and quality assurance, and is conversant with concurrent and simultaneous engineering, product innovation, and creativity. He is also skilled in team building and project leadership.


Expert has taught quality function deployment (QFD) to over 100 companies, and has guided the applications of QFD on over 100 projects, ranging from large electromechanical systems, to molecules, to administrative systems and service organizations. He has equal skills in integrating QFD and value analyses to assure that you are developing the right product/service in the most cost effective manner. He is especially aware of the discipline necessary to implement the QFD process throughout an organization.

Expert has studied creativity and innovation since 1966. He is a life member of the Creativity Education Foundation. His knowledge and experience include the basic concepts of why and how people create, the principles of creative problem solving, a wide range of creative problem solving methodologies and idea gathering techniques, and how to implement ideas.
