• Leading Cost Reduction – Through New Vendor Development, Change in Procurement Strategy
• Key leadership role for leading Digitalization/ Automation / Artificial intelligence in all factories ( Working at corporate level )
• Inventory Management- Through Lead Time reduction, Logistic Control
• Skill development of Team & Procurement through Digitization
• Key expertise in All types of Raw materials – Steel, Copper, Capex, Equipment & Various Engineering Consumable products.
• Key expertise for making Service contract for all types of Service for factory & Project Site.
• Aligning the Procurement function with the Business requirement – Cost, Quality, Time.

(1). Key Commodity Procurement for Factory (Raw Material): STEEL
• Procurement of various grade Casting & Forging (From 3 Kg to 80,000 Kg – Single Pc)
• Procurement of Steel Plate, Round Bar, Flat Bar, Copper, Aluminium, Pipes, Tubes, Structural Material from Globally and Indian Market.
• E-Procurement of Raw Material
• Global deputation in various countries - Switzerland, Poland, Germany, China, Portugal, France – Worked with Multicultural & Multi-Language Team Member
• Forecast of Raw Material through various Tool like LME, Newspaper, & Business meetings with Clients.
• Raw Material cost & Delivery Management aligning with Business Target.
• Inventory Management Control – Demand & Supply Management

(2). ELECTRO MECHANICAL procurement for EPC SITE:
• Procurement of Lubrication system, Cooling Oil System, Electrical Equipment along with Panel, Heating Oil system, Oil Jacking System. Water purification & Circulation system. Heat Exchanger for process Equipment, Heaters & Coolers
• Procurement of Pump, Valve, DG Set, Cooling Tower, Heavy Duty Compressor, HVAC System.
• Finalization of Contractor for the Fabrication, Technology Partner,
• Floating Inquiry to Lead Equipment manufacturer and align the Technical Specification requirement to the supplier. If any deviation taking design approval before procurement
• Keep in touch with the vendor to update for the Technology development
• Involving the Cross-country vendor to get the best Technology along with Cost.

(3) . Procurement of CAPEX Item for the Manufacturing Plant:
• Procurement of CNC & Conventional Machine tool as per Manufacturing Technology and Accuracy requirement.
• Procurement of Special Cutting Tool, Fixture, Jig, Assembly Plate form for Manufacturing & Assembly of Product
• Procurement of DG Set, Transformer, Air conditioning Unit, Chiller, Electrical Panel, Solar Power Plant, Compressor, Heaters, Overhead Cranes, Hydra, Transfer Trolley, Painting Booth, Sand Blasting Equipment, Welding Machine & Rotators
• Handling of Green Field Project (New Plant) – Procurement of all the Item for New Factory Set up from Land Procurement to First Component dispatch. Completed Green Field Project in ALSTOM Bharat Forge Power Limited.
• Invite to bid for Global Player for the Factory Equipment and allow them to understand the requirement and then participate in the Bidding activity.
• Procurement special Measurement Instruments like CMM, Spectro Meter, Borescope Micro Meter.
• Procurement of Design (PRO-E, Auto Cad) & IT Software (SAP, Oracle, BAAN)

(4). Sub-Contracting Activity to Balance Factory Manufacturing Load:
• Strategy is to be manufactured Critical & Technological Component inside the factory and balance to be procured outside and ready for the assembly.
• Make & Buy decision preparation based on Cost & Lead Time calculation
• Outsourcing of Machining activity like CNC Boring, CNC Turning, CNC Boring as per drawing and develop new vendor to do outsourcing activity
• Outsourcing of Fabrication activities like Rolling, Stress Relieving, Painting & Sand Blasting.
• Developed Outsource activity nearby Manufacturing unit to have easy excess & reduce the transportation Cost

(5). Procurement of Factory Regular Item: -
• Global Country deputation in the various factories – Switzerland, Germany, China, Poland, Portugal, France. Have Multicultural & Multi-Language team members working.
• Experience Global Country Working for Supply Chain Management.
• Procurement of C- Class items like Cutting Oil, Welding Consumable, Grease, Packing Material
• Contractor finalization for Sub Contract Activity like Heavy Duty Fabrication, Machining, Assembly in the factory as well as outside the factory
• Finalization of Contractor for Painting, Shot Blasting, Polishing, Canteen activity
• MRP System PR to P.O Monitoring
• Safety Stock Management as per Management Guideline.

(6). Import, Export & Logistic Handling:
• Responsible for Finalization contract with Shipping line, Freight Forwarder
• Handling of Over Dimension, Over Weight Consignment transportation from Factory to Customer Site. – Site Survey, Agreement with Govt Body for the Transportation movement.
• Handling with DGFT Office (Govt of India) for Zero Duty import activity
• Visiting the Govt of India for the Advance License.

(7). Material Planning, Costing & MIS
• Preparation of Material Planning sheet based on Manufacturing Schedule
• Sharing of Material Planning datasheet to Manufacturing Planning, Quality and Finance Management Team
• Cross function team close-loop working like Design, Manufacturing, Quality in day to day business
• Handling with DGFT Office (Govt of India) for Zero Duty import activity
• Visiting the Govt of India for the Advance License.
• Provide Cash Outflow statement monthly sharing based on Material movement.
• For New Project, Prepare the Detail component-wise sheet and hand it over to the Marketing/ Sales Team.
