Course development Developed a graduate-level course (presently designated CHE/MSE761) formerly entitled "Fundamentals of Polymer Blends & Alloys" and recently renamed "Polymer Blends &; Alloys," which addresses an important contemporary aspect of polymer science and engineering. This course, first offered in 1994 and offered every other year thereafter, introduces students to fundamental property design and characterization of multicomponent polymeric materials. Course projects provide students with the opportunity to practice what they learn in the classroom. The course was offered on Video-Based Engineering Education (VBEE) and National Technological University (NTU) for the first time in 1999. |
