Expert (pronounced Prows-nitz) has expertise in the applications of molecular thermodynamics to chemical process design. He has extensive experience in the calculation of properties required for chemical process design, especially separation operations. Expert is highly competent in the areas of solution thermodynamics, as well as chemical and phase equilibrium. Expert has consulted extensively regarding thermodynamics for the National Bureau of Standards and for major companies in the U.S. and Europe. This work has included projects involving petroleum and natural gas, polymers and gels, petrochemicals, cryogenic processes, and separation processes such as adsorption, extraction, distillation, and precipitation.

Expert is a specialist in the thermodynamic properties of pure and mixed fluids, including properties at high pressures and unusual conditions. He is also knowledgeable of the thermodynamic laws, variables, and relationships of these fluids. In addition, he is knowledgeable regarding fluid thermophysical properties, equations of state, and models for activity coefficients.
