Expert is a distinguished physician leader with extensive expertise in pain management, physical medicine, and rehabilitation. Over his career, he has served in prominent roles, combining clinical practice with administrative leadership. Currently, he serves as a Physician Executive at medical group in Northern California, where he has held responsibilities on the Board of Directors and various committees, influencing strategic decisions on service lines, quality measures, and physician engagement. Under his leadership, physician satisfaction within the medical group rose significantly above national benchmarks.

Clinically, Expert is recognized as a Founding Pain Management Physician in Sonoma County, where he developed a thriving practice from inception and pioneered advanced techniques, including neuromodulation and minimally invasive interventions for complex pain cases. Additionally, he has contributed as the Interim Medical Director for inpatient rehabilitation, overseeing admissions, discharges, and multidisciplinary team coordination.

Prior to his current role, Expert was at the Texas Institute for Neurological Diseases and Pain Care Physicians in Austin, Texas, where he established successful pain management programs and improved operational efficiency. He also served as a Medical Director at Carrus Hospital, increasing patient census and implementing innovative quality management programs.

Academically, Expert has been involved in research and education, serving as a principal and sub-investigator in clinical trials and sharing his expertise at national and international conferences, including the Napa Pain Conference and Kauai Pain Conference. His educational background includes an MBA from Cornell University, a medical degree from Chicago Medical School, and post-graduate training at Stanford University and Oregon Health Sciences University.
