Expert has extensive experience in the treatment of complex foot and ankle trauma both acute and chronic. Being the senior surgeon of a busy fracture and orthopaedic foot and ankle unit close to a major motorsport venue has enriched his experience in the treatment of complex injuries of the foot and ankle. Furthermore he also treats a variety of athletes including rubgy, cricket and hockey players, track and field athletes and other pursuits such as ballet dancers etc. He teaches on the AO Principles Course and has been part of the invited faculty for many conferences and meetings through out the world. He also has a unique experience in the treatment of post traumatic sequelae such as arthritis and instability and post traumatic deformity He is well versed in techniques of ligament reconstruction around the foot and ankle and uses state of the art technology such as arthroscopy(key-hole surgery) of the ankle, big toe, and the tendons,circular frame fixators and minimally invasive techniques to minimise the severity of surgery. He also performs minimally invasive forefoot surgery and a small of number of hindfoot operations through a minimal technique that is still in evolution. He is a Council member of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and the Chairman of the Education Committee of this national organisation


Expert performs many arthroscopic procedures including therapeutic arthroscopy of the ankle subtalar joint first metatarsophalangeal joint, peroneal tendons amongst others. He also performs fusion of these joints using the arthroscope significantly improving the quality of healing and decreasing length of stay in hospital. He has extensive experience of rheumatoid foot and ankle surgery including forefoot reconstruction, ankle joint replacement corrective tibial osteotomy for deformity and fusion procedures

Expert employs stae of the art technology in correcting very severe deformity in the distal tibia, ankle and foot. Using computer guided prescriptions he corrects deformities gradually reducing the need to remove bone or minimising the magnitude of the operation
