Since 1992 Expert has been involved in the treatment of aluminum for plating copper and for coating with polymers to produce lithographic printing plates. These plates have been use in a conventional sense--UV exposed; and also in a CTP sense--thermal laser exposed by large and medium printers. He has two patents for a thermally imaged plate and another patent for a non-anodized aluminum plate for the web offset market. He also has a patent applied for a bimetal stainless steel printing plate that is thermally imaged.
