Expert is a board certified gynecologist. After receiving his M.D. from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1988, he completed his internship and resident training in gynecology at Geisinger Medical Center in 1992. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is also certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners as a Diplomate.
He has conducted and co-investigated several studies in the field of gynecology. His clinical research topics have been on evaluating the menstrual cycle, assessing and evaluating the effects of oral contraceptives, management and analysis of menopausal symptoms, treating urinary tract infections, evaluating contraceptive efficacy of the Ring, assessing Estradiol, treating osteoporosis in postmenopausal women, treating premenstrual syndrome (PMS), management of obesity, validating PMS, managing Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), understanding the effects of drugs in women with endometriosis, assessing endocrine and metabolic abnormalities of women with polycystic ovary syndrome, evaluating and treating women with Female Sexual Arousal Disorder (FSAD), and other female conditions.
With over 20 years of OBG clinical experience, Expert has extensive skills in the field. He has worked with over 40 research protocols as primary investigator, reviewed/deposed and been an expert witness for years and is very comfortable with forensic work. Turn around time is very fast. He has continued to conduct research in the field of OBG. He also teaches and writes.
He has hosted an award winning TV show and is currently working throughout the US in the field of health care.
He has been consulted on a case where a laparoscopic bilateral oophorectomy resulted in transecting both ureters. Expert encouraged settlement.He has reviewed a case where surgical policy was not followed in terms of not waiting long enough for an instrument to cool after being autoclaved.A hysteroscopic case took an excessive amount of time to performed. Upon review, alternative treatment options were found that may have reduced the complication risk.
