Expert is the inventor of the stage gate process, which is a template for new product development projects. Using this methodology, managers can review the progress of a project at the various stages of development and verify that all quality goals (and other pre-defined checkpoints) have been met before approving advancement to the next stage. Expert has authored articles on the Stage-Gate process and has consulted extensively with several Fortune 100 companies.
He currently helps company task forces to design and implement a Stage-Gate new product process.He helps companies design and implement a portfolio management (and project selection) process.He provides training on Stage-Gate and/or Portfolio Management to senior management.He provides seminars and talks on the topic of product innovation management.He coaches new product project teams.
