Expert is a board certified neurologist with 20 years experience of clinical neurology. He has additional certification in neuroimaging, and interprets all CT and MRI scans of the nervous system performed on his patients. He is also be involved in the clinical study of infused neurotrophic factors as a treatment for Parkinson's disease.

His main areas of expertise are Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis and headache. He teaches at Employer school of medicine, and attends at the Tisch Hospital of the Employer Langone Medical Center. He is the inventor of parallel MRI, a technique now in widespread use throughout the world.
