During his doctoral studies, he has successfully stabilized many commercially valuable proteins through understanding of their thermal behavior. He also constructed biosensors for the estmination of pesticides in the environmental samples.
For his Post-doctoral studies he joined to the world renown Lab, where the primary focus of lab was to develop a wheat germ cell-free protein expression technology and commercialize it. Now this product is available for researchers world-wide. In this lab Expert focused on the constrcution of engineered antibodies and express them in the cell-free environment. Since post-translational modification like disulphide formation in the antibody demands oxidative conditions, he has adopted an innovative protocol to express functionally active single chain antibodies against pathogens and successfully characterize them. He is also well versed with antibody optimization techniques like ribosome display and synthetic library construction.
Upon moving to the United States, Expert established wheat germ cell-free protein expression technology starting from the scrap within a span of six months. He used his established technology to address the Malaria recombinant protein expression issues. Expert expressed more than 25 recombinant proteins with a 100% success rate. During these studies, he has used many techniques for the analsis of recombiant proteins, Such as, genetic engineering, Cell-free RNA expression, Dialysis, protein purification, assay development, SDS-PAGE and more.
He has consulted at numerous academic events, where useful suggestions were offered to collegues and collaborators.
