Ms. Expert has 15+ years as a public relations strategist and writer, assisting businesses, non-profits, law firms, banks, governments and tourism accounts in writing and distributing AP-style news releases to get the word out on her clients. A former reporter, she takes a journalistic approach to PR to get the media's attention. She has developed and executed PR plans for all types of clients and challenges, assisting them with event PR, crisis management, media relations, story pitches and employee PR. She has owned her own PR firm since 1993.

Ms. Expert is a former newspaper reporter and currently owns and operates a PR firm. She is highly skilled in writing news releases in AP style, op eds, guest articles, position papers, pitch letters, direct mail, newsletters and annual reports. She is also an experienced editor and proofreader. As a news reporter and editor in Arizona, Virginia, Venezuela and Spain, she covered education, city news, international affairs and also wrote features.

She has served a major New England law firm and a large international bank for more than 15 years, writing their news releases, guest columns and other press materials as well as advising them on media and public relations. Both the bank and the law firm have grown significantly since hiring Ms. Expert. Ms. Expert has advised a number of large and mid-sized manufacturers on crisis PR situations, advising them on media strategies, media statements, talking points and news releases and handling media outreach. In addition, she offers advise on media relations and interview techniques. She has advised a number of non-profit organizations in media and public relations planning to increase public awareness and media coverage. Ms. Expert has earned national press for several travel and tourism accounts, including a small European tour company, a cooking school in Mexico and a Costa Rican tour group. She speaks Spanish and offers a lower rate for clients in Spanish-speaking countries.
