His 8 person independent pathology group performs 28,000 surgical pathology cases and about the same number of cytopathology cases.
He has been the president of the hospital medical staff and have a long history working in with pathology and laboratory medicine CPT coding, including chairing the AMA-CPT Pathology Coding Caucus. His past work as Director of Medical Education (for 11 years) provided him with experience being appointed to the Board of Directors of the KMEF and serving as chairman of the KMEF Graduate Medical Education Committee. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at his affiliated medical school and Associate Pathologist for his private pathology group.
