A consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon since 2005, Expert qualified form St Mary’s Hospital Medical School, Imperial College in 1995.
His Orthopaedic training took place in London with specialist and fellowship training in knee and sports injury surgery at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and the Jonathan Webb Clinic, Bristol. He is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association, the British Association for Surgery of the Knee (BASK) and the British Association for Sports and Exercise Medicine (BASEM). Expert has particular interests in cartilage regeneration, arthritis in the young patient and kneecap (patellofemoral) problems. He performs cartilage transplantation both on the NHS and in private practice and well as ligament reconstruction (anterior and posterior Cruciate), osteotomies, and partial and total knee replacements.
Working out of Bishops Wood Hospital, Northwood and The Chiltern Hospital, Great Missenden, Bucks he provides a complete outpatient and inpatient service to patients with problem knees.
Expert lectures to national and international audiences on rapid recovery programmes following hip and knee replacement as well as techniques in ligament reconstruction and partial knee replacement surgery.
