His principal practice area is international arbitration; including investment treaty and commercial disputes. He manages one of the few specialist forensic accounting practices in Switzerland, which is itself of course a well-known seat for the settlement of international disputes. Expert has acted as quantum/damages expert witness in many arbitration disputes over the years including under ICSID, UNCITRAL and ICC rules. Unusually, he has also acted as tribunal-appointed expert in ICSID proceedings. He has testified in front of arbitral tribunals and also the Iran-US Claims Tribunal.
He runs the Switzerland office of LBC Investigative Accounting; a nine-office niche firm based in Montreal, Canada.
