His job as the CEO of Layer3 has exposed him to knowledge of telecoms regulations in Nigeria and West Africa as he worked closely with the telecoms regulator in the country. His experience over the years has exposed him to working with various OEMs such as Juniper Networks, Cisco, ECI Telecom, Patton, Barracuda Networks, Alvarion, Harris, Ceragon, Microsoft, Polycom and Ericson. His company, Layer3, remains the only Juniper Networks' certified partner in Firewall and VPN in the whole of Western Africa.
He was the Lead Consultant on the Nigerian STEP-B Project where he conducted the Study of Broadband Connectivity for Higher Educational Institutions (HEI)in Nigeria. The study served as the framework for the World bank to issue a $108 million loan to HEIs to fund broadband networks for these institutions.He has consulted for several consulting groups, including GLG, on several telecom projects in Nigeria and West Africa.
