He was originally certified as a Professional in Human Resource Management in 1995 and as a Senior Professional in Human Resource Management in 1997. He has maintained his certification through on-going Continuing Education Credits, work promotions and involvement in the Society for Human Resource Management.
He developed a workplace accident and cost control program while with a manufacturing company. The Modified Duty / Transitional Duty program was developed to control costs and build morale. The program involved getting injured workers back into the facility as quickly as possible by offering modified duties within the injured workers health restrictions. This program minimized costs and helped build morale.
