He has done extensive research on driver interfaces to navigation systems and on work warning systems and control preferences. His focus is on usability, not on switch design or mechanical or electrical properties. This research has broad applicability to transportation, computer systems, and consumer products of all types.
AUTOMOTIVE SAFETY; AUTOMOTIVE ERGONOMICS. At the U of M Transportation Institute Expert has conducted research on many issues pertaining to motor vehicle safety, vehicle ergonomics, and how people drive cars.
