Additional Experience
Training / Seminars |
---|
He has designed a series of training courses for both technicians/furnace management and forehearth operator personnel. These courses provide technician with the insight to allow them to critically assess available forehearth technology and to ensure the equipment they purchase is the most appropriate to their production requirements. A separate series of courses is aimed at the forehearth operator. These courses are not designed to teach how to alter set point or adjust air/gas ratio - it is assumed the operator already knows how to do this. These course teach the operator what happens within the forehearth as a result of these changes and within what timescale - providing the operator with the knowledge to predict the results and implications of any changes made to the system. This greatly increases operator effectiveness. |
Vendor Selection |
---|
Expert has an extensive knowledge and experience of alternative forehearth technology and can advise glass manufacturers on the most appropriate technology for their application. |
Other Relevant Experience |
---|
Expert offers forehearth audits on operational forehearths. These audits establish the precise operational status of the forehearth system. The audits are used to analyse forehearth operation and efficiency and for the production of a report that details the status of the system and the measures necessary to return the forehearth to maximum operational efficiency. |
