Prior to his career at Honeywell Transportation System, where he was Global Technical Casting Expert Team Leader, in charge of the development of new casting supplier, continuous improvements and problem solving. His expert team and him were also in charge of the management of big quality crisis in a fire fighting mode.
Then he has been Foundry & Material Expert dedicated to turbocharger, fuel system and EGR system program developments, supporting the application engineering and quality department on all material and process aspects, focused on new supplier and material program developments. He also has utilized his metallurgical engineering background and decade of experiences in carrying out the Failure analysis of the parts / components. He has arrived at the root cause in the failure of transmission gears, engine components, axels, sheet metal components etc. and offered the corrective solutions, the implementation of which has prevented the reoccurrences of such failures along with the reduction in warranty claims of parts and in reducing casting rejection.
Also, Expert has occupied the Foundry & Material Engineer Leader position at Peugeot Citroen Automotive, working on large-scale strategic iron casting projects. He has worked and been responsible on important programs, including development of the 186hp engine iron block on site, used to PSA premium cars.
His experience includes writing Component Material Specifications and Inspection Standards, developing and auditing Casting Suppliers streamlining production processes, inspection procedures in the foundries, and technology development.
He is a proficient auditor who has technically evaluated, assessed and audited numerous foundries worldwide (50+).
In addition to direct involvement with casting engineering and design, he has had experience conducting global and regional trainings on a variety of topics related to design, analysis, and manufacturing.
