Expert is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice with a subspecialty in Geriatrics and is family physician with 34 years experience as a faculty member in a medical school. He has a fellowship in geriatric medicine from Johns Hopkins and has organized training in geriatrics for residents in family medicine and students in medical school. For more than 20 years he has spent part of his academic and clinical time in environmental and occupational medicine with a special interest in agricultural medicine. He has developed computer based instruction in occupational medicine and has more than 70 publications in geriatrics, family medicine and occupational medicine.

FAMILY MEDICINE/PREVENTIVE MEDICINE: He has experience, done clinical research and has published in this specialty numerous times, including on cases concerning the effects of oral contraceptives, Occupational and Environmental Medicine (OEM) gap in the family medicine curriculum providing a clinical guide to the OEM patient. He is familiar with cardiac manifestations of connective tissue disease, Varicose veins, acute organophosphate poisoning, Chemophobia in family medicine, and the role for of a family physician in disaster-related physical and mental health. He also has experience in promoting self-assessment examination among patients, practicing self-monitoring (a form of self-assessment), promoting the principles of exercise, evaluating adolescent life-style formulation, evaluating home study self-assessment and community medicine, and understanding occupational respiratory disease.

GERIATRICS: His expertise in geriatrics include several studies, clinical research and publications on cases such as urinary tract infection in adults, common foot problems in the adult, acne in adults, management of the active arthritic patient, motivation and injury prevention in the elderly, understanding concepts in managing rheumatoid arthritis, pharmacists' intervention in falls among the elderly, diagnosing dementia, depression, and grief, CPR in nursing homes, understanding a new concept in the management of acute agitated behavior in elderly with dementia, management of acute psychiatric disorders in elderly Ddemented patients, rheumatoid arthritis and related disorders, hypertension in an elderly population using Losartan Potassium as a promising new therapy treatment, Atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, treatment of early Parkinson’s disease, and a case study on "An 80-Year-Old noncompliant female patient with type 2 diabetes and a recent AMI."

GOOD CLINICAL PRACTICE: He has studied the relationship of long-term and acute-care facilities, Antihypertensive agents and the loss of blood pressure control. He has given several presentations at several mediccal schools and major teaching hospitals and conferences on preventative medicine, good clinical practice regarding treatment and specialized situations such as pesticide poisoning within a community.

PUBLIC HEALTH/ENVIRONMENTAL MEDICINE: His expertise include understanding the updates in agricultural medicine that involve pesticides, herbicides and other toxicology, tick-borne disease, the quality of American food supply, and trauma on the farm that may affect consumers. He also has promoted preparing Family Practice Physicians for environmental health incidents in the community and presented Agromedical highlights of the risk assessment issues for sensitive human populations. He has also provided information on environmental risk assessment and its effects on a community physician, a primary care physician guide to bridge the gap between disease causation and environmental risk, a Rural Practitioner's guide to Agromedicine, diagnosis and management.
