Idaho, USA
Applications have included detection of health outcomes resulting from adverse air quality, forecasting stream flow, design of industrial and domestic wastewater monitoring systems, analysis of trends in air pollution, use of failure time methods in the analysis of trace level chemical measurements, and the fusion of meteorological and satellite measurements with surface measurements of air quality.
Expert has carried out this work with state and Federal agencies and private companies in the semiconductor, metal finishing and agricultural irrigation sectors. He has been retained as an expert witness in the area of water quality.
expertise terms: statistics
Has consulted with irrigation companies in Idaho regarding the potential impacts of urban storm water on water used for irrigation.Has developed statistical plans required under RCRA and conducts annual assessments of groundwater quality. An assessment of trends in ozone air quality in the inter-mountain west of the US was carried out in connection with oil and gas development in the region.Assisted with a RCRA/superfund audit of the 65 facilities of a large metal finishing company.Developed a wastewater monitoring system for a computer chip manufacturer.

Additional Experience
Expert Witness Experience |
---|
Expert was retained as an expert witness in cases involving the Clean Water Act as it pertains to commingling of urban storm water and water used to irrigate agricultural land. He worked for two different irrigation districts (plaintiffs) who were seeking damages from government entities that allowed urban storm water runoff to enter the plaintiffs irrigation works. Expert prepared reports describing the impact on water quality of urban runoff and was deposed in each case. |
