PESTICIDE REGULATIONS. Expert has worked with FDA, EPA, USDA, and their Canadian counterparts on most aspects of pesticide regulation pertaining to tolerances, residues, use patterns, registration, and environmental impact. He has good familiarity with FIFRA procedures (Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act).
PESTICIDE MONITORING OF PRODUCTS AND FEEDSTOCK. Expert has experience establishing small laboratories for clients to monitor single or multiple pesticides on their products. In addition to gas and liquid chromatography methods, he has adapted new immunoassay methods for economical analyses of specific chemicals.
BIOLOGICAL PEST CONTROL; PHEROMONES. Expert has extensive research experience in insect pheromone analysis by GC/MS for registration, as well as experience in the regulation of these and other biocontrol agents in the U.S., Canada, and EEC.
PESTICIDE ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS; PESTICIDES IN WATER AND SOIL. Expert has collaborated on numerous studies involving pesticide migration and degradation in turf, field crops, ground water, and estuarian waters. The circumstances of this work included normal applications, spills, and illegal misuse.
PESTICIDE EXPOSURE AND SAFETY. Expert has conducted worker exposure research in the field and orchard environments as well as in indoor application and museum specimen protection. He has consulted in the area of pesticide applications, safety, and effectiveness for control of indoor/domestic pests.
