He has been an attending physician at the University hospital in Albuquerque for many years as well. He is medical director of several rural EMS ambulance services and lectures frequently. He is also board certified in Family practice (inactive), and has practiced in many third world venues, including Mexico, Central and South America, and Ethiopia. He has done expert testimony multiple times.

Expert also has had exposure to third world emergency medicine, exotic diseases, and spectacular tribal peoples and has published several publications on American Indians.

He has written several scientific articles, and has two chapters in the Schwartz textbook of Emergency Medicine. He is considered articulate, sincere, and hard-working. His publications include original papers on pelvic fractures, lightning injuries, electrical injuries and many other topics on emergency medicine.
