Responsibilities:- Preparation of printed circuit boards, including fine pitch soldering. Build and program SPI to analog data acquisition test boxes. Train counterparts for Italy, China, Mexico, Brazil and India impact testing. - Assist customer with instrumentation for impact vehicles using accelerometers and angular rate sensors. - Provide technical support to vehicle application teams by troubleshooting and identifying the root cause of system faults. - Download crash data and deliver to Continental Algorithm engineering team. - Fabrication and preparation of crash prototype Airbag Control Units (sensor data output modifications, functional check, calibration download). - Utilize Lab Equipment (thruster/shaker) to validate modified hardware and sensors - Moderate to heavy travel to customer sites to support all vehicle impact activities. Daily travel to customer during peak periods. |
