ID: 727427
Canada
His partner Gerry Hare has an extensive background in marketing, engineering and physics as a result of more than thirty years experience in electron accelerator, medical device and semiconductor projects. He project-managed the development, initial production, installation and servicing of the first cancer therapy electron accelerator to use computer controls, established the marketing of electron sterilization equipment to the medical sterilization industry and device manufacturers, and worked with regional development agencies to attract medical device manufacturing. In addition, he has worked on ISO standards for electron sterilization.
Expert has presented numerous seminars and technical papers to the International Meetings on Radiation Processing, the Japan Conferences on Radiation,International Atomic Energy Agency, Pacific Basin Nuclear Conferences, Saskatchewan Association of Municipalities, Queensland Department of Trade and has provided extensive instructional courses on electron beam technology.
He provided
a market survey for on-line electron beam sterilization
for a Japanese client, andHe provided a report on market and technology opportunities for electron accelerators
for a British client.and He provided overall guidance for the equipment selection, shield design, licensing and staff training for a US medical device manufacturer building a sterilization plant.A review of accelerator technology for food irradiation
for a irradiation plant manufacturer, andA dose mapping study including computer simulation and analysed equipment available for electron beam sterilization of contact lenses
for a USA company.
