Expert is the co-creator of NPR's Planet Money podcast, a highly celebrated podcast about the economy for people who aren't interested in economics. Prior to starting Planet Money, he served as the International Business and Economics Correspondent at NPR. In addition, he has been a frequent contributor to “This American Life” podcast, including co-reporting an episode that received the Peabody, DuPont-Columbia, and Polk Awards, and was named one of the top works of journalism of the decade by New York University’s Arthur L.
