Expert's career in the marine construction industry began 42 years ago with Adriaan Volker Dredging Company (the Netherlands). Following four mergers and the resultant growth, he decided to stay in Australia and left Van Oord after more than 33 years working for the same Company. He started his own dredging consultancy company and has undertaken many assignments since.

He has handled responsibilities from the head office, on project sites and regional offices all over the world.

Expert's projects in the dredging and reclamation also involved the construction of revetments and/or breakwater as well as other hard and soft wave protection constructions.

As a consultant, Expert is prepared to lend his expertise in all aspects of dredging and reclamation projects, ranging from operational, contractual, financial, budgeting, innovative solutions, equipment selection, feasibility studies, project reviews, inspections, on- and offsite advise, site visits, management support and much more.
