Expert has worked in the development of non-bulk chemical packaging for 20 years. He has in-depth working knowledge of plastic high density polyethylene resins, additives, and treatments used in blow molded and injection molded rigid shipping containers.
Expert has a thorough working knowledge of Title 49 CFR Regulations for hazardous materials. He has helped clients with interpretive matters and in obtaining exemptions and competent authority approvals for packaging that do not meet specification requirements of part 178. Expert routinely conducts public and in-house training seminars on compliance with DOT and UN packaging regulations.
Expert has a thorough working knowledge of UN Recommendations, and maintains copies of all current standards, as well as new proposals. In addition, he has established the first U.S.A.- recognized package testing laboratory for certification to United Nations performance standards. He monitors new packaging proposals and changes to help clients engaged in moving hazardous materials by export air and water.
