Request Expert

Expert is a clinical research sub-investigator, specializing in Critical Care Medicine as an Assistant Consultant. He graduated from Cairo University with an MBBCH in Medicine and Surgery in 2008, and started his training and worked as an ICU resident in Cairo in the National Institute of Diabetes and Endocrinology. Expert joined Employer as a specialist (staff physician) in 2014 until he was eventually promoted to assistant consultant in 2021. Meanwhile, he finished his MRCPI membership of the Royal College of Ireland in General Medicine, then received a European Diploma in Intensive Care Medicine from the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine.

Expert has been participating in clinical research within his department, namely as co-author of two publications, and a sub-investigator of ten clinical trials.

Skills:
Bedside Critical Care Procedures:
- CVC insertion (including U/S guidance)
- Arterial line insertion
- Endotracheal Intubation including difficult airway management
- Intensive bedside ultrasonography.
- Intercostal drains, pig tails insertion.
- Percutaneous tracheostomy
- Lumber puncture

Management of critically ill patients:
- Medical ICU: Including respiratory, cardiac, neurological, Obs/Gyn emergencies, Sepsis population, and other LEVEL2-3 critical illness situations
- Surgical and trauma ICU.
- Oncology and transplant ICU:
- Liver and renal transplantation case.
- Hematological and oncological emergencies
-Burn ICU.
- Clinical Research: sub-investigator.
