Expert has worked in the area of sulfuric acid plant corrosion and materials selection for the past 18 years and has been involved in the materials selection of some of the worlds largest sulfuric acid plants. Expert has performed failure analysis on multiple sulfuric acid plant components. He is chair of the NACE Sulfuric Acid Materials And Experiences Committee TEG 115X.

Expert has also done extensive materials selection and failure analyses in sulfuric acid re-concentration plants and plant which produce 99% nitric acid for the nitration industries.

Expert has done extensive work in the pulp and paper industry including materials section, corrosion control and failure analysis in the bleach plants of pulp mills.
