His experience enables him to step into a temporary leadership role with clients when the incumbent leaves the position suddenly and the client organization wants to search for and thoroughly review candidates for the position. Most of his experience is associated with thermal sciences and the application of these technologies to commercial appliances for food service, residential appliances or HVAC equipment. Because of the length and breadth of his experience, he has been asked to serve as an expert witness in patent infringement and personal injury cases.

Expert has supported various clients in the foodservice equipment industry serving as stand-in engineering vice president during a period when the incumbent was discharged. This enabled the client to spend more time recruiting a permanent replacement. He has leveraged his Six Sigma black belt to assist numerous clients streamline their manufacturing process or product design. Lower cost and higher reliability resulted from the projects.A major fast-food chain stopped purchasing equipment from one of his clients due to reliability problems. Expert led the internal engineering group in a broad-brush redesign of the equipment that included design and manufacturing process review and improvement. After nine months, the product was accepted by the customer and production was restarted.A manufacturer of commercial appliances was experiencing nearly 100% failure rate of their equipment in the field. This poor quality finally moved the customer to suspend purchasing the equipment and the manufacturing plant was reduced to two days of production per week. Leading the internal engineering team, he found root cause of all production and design issues finally getting the product back into full-time production.
