Request Expert

Expert is a textile chemist by education and has extensive experience in the manufacture of polymers, polymer additives, fiber and yarn production, fiber and yarn spin finish design and application. He has have worked with many different types of synthetic and natural fiber systems.

Expert has worked for over 15 years in the design and manufacturing of carpets for residential, commercial, modular carpets (tiles), automotive carpets and rugs. His experience is heavily focused on the chemistry of fiber and carpet dyeing and finishing. He has also been involved in the sales and technical services for carpet manufacturing machinery.

He has ten years of experience in carpet recycling systems. This has involved systems for reducing post-industrial and post-consumer carpets and other flooring products into their component parts and processing these materials back into useful products.

Graduated with a degree in Textile Chemistry. Worked in Product Development involved in dyeing and finishing of natural and synthetic materials for over ten years

During my tenure in the fiber business I spent considerable time in working with solution dyed fibers. Mostly nylon but I have experience in other fibers (PET, PP, Acrylic) as well

He served as Marketing Consultant to the International Flooring Group, conducting several projects between 2001 and 2008.
He is currently employed as the President of his eponymous consulting firm providing expertise and services in Technical Consulting and Marketing Consulting.
