Expert has worked in the development of carbon dioxide process equipment for advanced cleaning, extraction, food grade recycling as a consultant, and design engineer. He holds numerous patents for his work in cleaning equipment design, chemical process, and carbonated food processing equipment. His years of experience include research projects, training, program development. The results of his work have created the first waterless plastic recycling machine, a pressurized container for carbonate food, numerous advances in carbon dioxide cleaning, all of which have lead to the success of the receiving companies. Through the development of a client portfolio, the reputation of thermodynanic solutions to complex problems have recently lead Expert to assist in the development of portable military refrigeration systems, geo thermal processes using state of the art techniques, and a method to capture toxic waste streams for isolation and disposal.
Provided complete project management, system design, and vendor selection on the first waterless plastic recycling facility. This resulted in two provisional patent applications for design for the client.Provided design expertise, thermodynamic modeling, and equipment design for a portable military refrigeration system for a third party manufacturing company.Provided the technical extertise in a proprietary geo thermal development project. This project will generate a significant COP benefit far beyond even conventional geo thermal. Design, vendor selection.Toxic Waste isolation project. This project, recently approved for continuation with the EPA,provides a method to isolate toxic substances from a material source which will now allow the decontaminated material to be returned to commerce. This groundbreaking approach will be the first effort to successfully capture compounds safely from the material stream without producing adverse effects on downstream materials.Oil extraction technique and capture using liquid carbon dioxide. In a further enhancement of the successful dry cleaning projects, this project allows an oil contaminated product to be safely separated. This project differs from standard dry cleaning in that normally the products removed are discarded and the cleaned product is cloth. This project not only removes the oil from the product so the product can be reused, the oil is also processed so it too can be returned for use. This provides a valuable stream back to the customer of two components, together with the reduction in waste product, this provided a significant cost benefit to the customer.
