Expert specializes in maintaining existing MS Access and VB codebases.
Prior tenures resulted in large scale business impacts (notably during the mid-2000’s instituting a technical configuration program that supported wireless build-outs of 100+ million/month sales at its peak, and devising a physical inventory management and tracking system for a major telecommunications carrier whose sales totaled several billion annually).
Since 2013, recent assignments have been focused as a technical-business liaison developing and implementing business requirements which facilitate business operations:
• Business Advocate, interfacing between business constituents and IT, fashioning business requirements to support IT transformation as the result of corporate mergers.
• Development of integrated database applications supporting customer physical and financial inventory management, Quote-to-Cash enterprise applications, complex product configuration, and E-Business systems introductions.
• Design and deployment of an automated telecommunications repeater tuning calibration tool for 3G Location Based Services which reduced turnaround time from several days to 30 minutes.
• Development and maintenance of custom production MS Access software database applications specializing in data interchange between MSExcel and MSAccess, supporting both internal and external client requirements.
2017 - present:
• Development of a rules-based Excel application used by a holding company to predict marketing “sweet spots” for wireless infrastructure investments.
• Support of a large government laboratory contract to upgrade their commercial and public safety wireless communications systems, during which he collaborated on writing the RFP for vendor acquisitions (OEM, Systems Integrator and MMRD)
• Joint development and delivery of a wireless workforce development In-Building adjunct training certification program, delivering course modules via live webinars and face-to-face, commissioned by the Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA), a national wireless training trade organization.
A system engineer by training, Expert began his career as Electrical Engineer in various development roles in hardware and firmware design, systems integration and performance testing. Circa 1990, Expert transitioned from (undisclosed company) to AT&T Network Systems in to a Product Management organization during the early days of wireless adoption. Several years later, he became interested in Microsoft Office development technologies (MS Access, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and VBA application development) and began developing applications for clients in his spare time. For the next 15 years, he used his database application development skills to define new roles within the corporate enterprise as a systems analyst and continued developing new skills in client requirements analysis, business process analysis, process re-engineering, acceptance testing and documentation, which span many years of project experience. Within the past 5 years, Expert amassed sufficient project hours to qualify for a Certified Business Analyst certification along with taking the required coursework.
He possess excellent planning and organizational skills, exceptional analytical skills, effective written and verbal skills and a strong functional as well as technical understanding of client requirements.
