With regards to boundary dispute matters, Expert uses a Nikon Total Station to undertake his own on-site measuring, enabling him to confirm with certainty details of the measured survey.
Expert is one of only a very small number of Surveyors in the North of England who have been acepted onto the RICS Expert Witness Registration Scheme in respect of Building Disputes and Boundary Disputes.
Expert has acted as a Single Joint Expert for disputes and has been to court as an expert witness on a number of occasions.

Responsibilities:Smiths Gore is a national company of Chartered Surveyors, principally Land Agents, but also offering Building Surveying and Estate Agency services. Many of the clients for the Building Surveying work are Estate owners, including the Church Commissioners in addition to other wealthy landowners. Expert began his employment as assistant to the head of the office's Building Surveying Department. He retired after approximately 12 months, leaving Expert as head of the office department. The workload was mostly residential and agricultural but included work to large country houses, many of which were of a senstive historical nature. Whilst at Smiths Gore, Expert obtained the RICS Diploma in Building Conservation. |
